About us
Octavia Japan was founded in October 2007 to help solve development issues around the world. Working with a wide range of international networks, we contribute to the implementation and monitoring of development cooperation projects, particularly those under Official Development Assistance (ODA).
In recent years, greater accountability has been required for the use of public funds in ODA projects, making evaluations that ensure objectivity and transparency increasingly important — as are the lessons learned and recommendations that evaluations provide for future projects. Octavia Japan specializes in evaluation across a wide range of development fields and sectors.

As the world economy continues to expand, development assistance is expected to deliver ever greater quality and significance.
Since its establishment in October 2007, Octavia Japan has been engaged in the evaluation of ODA projects, development assistance, and related research.
Through our work around the world and our collaboration with specialists in many countries, we have built a reliable project implementation system. Drawing on this global experience and network, we will continue to contribute to the development of Japan’s ODA and to development around the world.
SERVICE
Support for Governmental Development (ODA) Projects
Drawing on our own overseas network, Octavia Japan conducts evaluations, operational support, and research for ODA projects, helping solve problems in developing countries and supporting international cooperation.
【Evaluation and Monitoring】
To evaluate governmental development projects, Octavia Japan holds consultations with local government agencies, interviews project beneficiaries, collects statistical information, analyzes project-related documents, and visits project sites. We also identify recommendations and lessons learned from each project and feed them back into future development projects.

Octavia Japan supports the formation of projects — such as infrastructure development and environmental improvement — by collecting and analyzing field information and statistical data through field surveys, based on the development needs of each country.
