Company’s introduction
Octavia Japan was founded in October 2007 for the purpose of solving and improving development issues all over the world. Collaborating with wide range of international networks, Octavia Japan contributes to implementing and monitoring development cooperation projects, especially for Official Development Assistance (ODA).
Recently, in order to fulfill accountability for the public funds about the ODA projects, importance of project/program evaluation assuring objectivity and transparency has been further increasing. Lessons learned that can be used for future projects and recommendations from the evaluation results are also increasing important. Octavia Japan focuses on the evaluation activities in various fields and sectors of development works.

Market size and economy in the world has expanded, and the significance and quality of development assistance are required with high quality.
Since its establishment in October 2007, Octavia Japan has implemented evaluation, development assistance, and research investigation on ODA projects.
Through worldwide work and collaboration with specialists around the world, we have established a meaningful work implementation system. Utilizing the worldwide experience and network, we will contribute to the development of Japan’s ODA assistance and the world development.
SERVICE
Support for governmental development（ODA） projects
With our own overseas network to conduct evaluation works, work assistance and research on ODA projects, Octavia Japan solves problems in developing countries, and supports the international cooperation projects.
【Evaluation and monitoring】
In order to evaluate governmental development projects, Octavia Japan prepares consultations with local government agencies, conducts interviews for beneficiaries of the project, collects statistical information, analyzes project related documents, and visit project sites. We also identify recommendations and lessons learned regarding the target projects, and conducts feedback activities towards the next development projects.

【Support for project formation】
Octavia Japan supports project formation by collecting and analyzing field information and statistical data, through field survey, such as infrastructure development and environment improvement, based on the development needs of target countries.
【Network establishment with local human resources】
Having established own overseas network connecting many specialists such as local consultants and interpreters, Octavia Japan enables swift project development.
